Q. What exactly is the HIVE?
A. The HIVE is a free application. This “App” is available for use with Apple and Android devices, matching workers with businesses in real time, without the middleman.
Q. Why use the HIVE instead of a traditional staffing agency?

The advancement of financial stability, flexibility and planning, and two-way ratings system promote a collaborative environment conducive to success.
Q. Is the HIVE free?

A. The HIVE can be configured for any business, including medical & dental, warehouse & logistics, restaurant, or retail.
Q. How do I join the HIVE?
A. The HIVE site takes the user through an onboarding process based on the specific area of HIVE interest. A step-by-step series of directions guide the user in unloading necessary credentials, photos and additional pertinent information.
Q. How will a HIVE worker be paid?
A. Most workers are paid directly from the businesses they contract with and are considered independent contractors. In a few cases the worker may be paid through a third-party provider.
Q. What is the HIVE Thrive?
A. HIVE Thrive is a belief and a call to action. Businesses and individuals have the power to promote change by donating to social causes. The HIVE Thrive tab links the user to social causes supported by Intrm Innovations, join us!
Q. What happens if a worker is matched to a temporary job but wishes to take a different position?
A. Once a match is made and accepted, the worker is obligated to the shift and is considered “ineligible” for other jobs within that timeframe. This means if the worker has transportation issues, illness or decides not to attend work he or she may not choose a different position for that same shift. This logic works for the business as well. A business is not able to cancel one worker for another or cancel the temporary position in less than 24 hours without penalty.
(See Terms of Use)
Q. What if a worker has a last-minute emergency?
A. The App is designed to allow 2-way conversation between business and temporary worker. Text communication is recommended followed by removing oneself from the daily schedule. This action allows the office to secure another temp worker quickly.
Q. Can a business request a specific worker?
A. Of course. Ratings and personal experience will determine the frequency in which a worker is selected.
Q. What if a business is interested in permanently hiring a temporary worker?
A. The HIVE supports workers finding their happy work home; a temporary worker is eligible to secure a permanent position after the duration of 120 days. A small fee is assigned to the business for this transaction.
(See Pricing Plan)
Q. How does the rating system work?
A. The HIVE uses beehive symbols to indicate overall performance, friendliness, attention to detail, preparedness; the qualities workers and businesses appreciate normally.
Q. What happens if one is not being selected to work?
A. Check the ratings, be curious; ask the business for direction or additional training.
Q. What happens if the worker or business experience is a disappointment?
A. Voice opinions using the HIVE ratings system, offer feedback directly through private messaging with objective comments and constructive criticism.
Q. What happens to HIVE users who violate HIVE policies?
A. The HIVE is a community of workers and businesses beautifully balanced to benefit both. Rule breakers will be removed from the HIVE.
(See Terms of Use)
Q. Does Intrm Innovations screen the temporary workers?
A. The HIVE is a modern alternative to a staffing agency. Qualifications are determined through a series of steps and licenses/certifications related to the worker’s field. The HIVE completes background checks for all workers.
Q. Will unmatched HIVE members get asked to leave the HIVE?
A. When a worker is not matched for a period of six (6) months they will become “inactive” this allows businesses insight to make the best selection.
Q. If a worker or business voluntarily leaves the HIVE can they return?
A. Of course!
Q. Is there a human being to assist offices and businesses?
A. Yes, there is a Help Desk Live Chat option to ensure a great HIVE experience.
Q. When a business requests a worker how is this confirmed?
